A Christian wedding in Nepal follows the order of the church — readings, vows, and a nuptial blessing inside a space that's meant to feel sacred, not staged. It's a shorter ceremony than most, but every part of it is deliberate, from the processional hymn to the final signature in the register.
The traditional process
Every family follows this in its own order — we plan around the version yours keeps.

Families meet with the pastor, who offers a short blessing over the upcoming union and helps set a date.

The couple, wedding party, and officiant walk through the order of service — readings, vows, and timing — a day or two before.

The bride is walked down the aisle to music as guests, groom, and officiant wait at the altar.

Readings chosen by the couple are followed by a short sermon from the pastor on marriage and commitment.

The couple exchanges vows and rings before the altar, witnessed by both families.

The pastor pronounces the couple married and offers a blessing over their life together.

The couple and witnesses sign the marriage register, then exit together to applause and music.
